DMK SUPPORTS JERSEY CARES’ FROSTY’S FRIENDS INITIATIVE
The attorneys and staff at DMK participated again this year in the Frosty’s Friends initiative by Jersey Cares, answering “Dear Frosty” wish list letters from children in New Jersey who may otherwise not receive any gifts this holiday season. These children are from some of the most under-served communities in our state. The children receiving gifts are from shelters and other non-profit organizations that have programs for children in need who may be spending the holidays without the comfort of a home. We at DMK were thrilled to each take our turn as “Frosty” in order to brighten the holidays a bit and make a wish come true for a child in need.
MINTER AND ABRAMS WIN DEFENSE VERDICT IN PREMISES LIABILITY TRIAL
Two of the Firm’s attorneys, Patrick Minter and Seth Abrams, obtained a defense verdict at the close of plaintiffs’ case in a trial that took place in Hudson County. The case involved a claim for personal injury against a condominium association resulting from an alleged construction defect.
JARED LIMBACH JOINS THE FIRM
We are pleased to announce that effective May 23, 2016, Jared Limbach joined our Firm. His areas of practice focus on professional liability defense, personal injury defense, and commercial disputes.
Jared is a 2010 graduate of Fordham Law School and was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 2010 and the New York State Bar in 2011. Mr. Limbach has been named to the list of 2014, 2015, and 2016 New Jersey Rising Stars by Thomson Reuters.

NJ ICLE SEMINAR “AVOIDING LEGAL MALPRACTICE”
On behalf of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), a Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association, partner Patrick Minter was honored to once again serve as one of two co-presenters at a seminar he co-authored entitled “Avoiding Legal Malpractice.” The seminar was held at the NJ Law Center in New Brunswick (April 26) and at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fairfield (May 5). The seminar focuses on providing attorneys with practice tips to avoid a claim for legal malpractice.
PATRICK B. MINTER JOINS THE CLAIMS AND LITIGATION MANAGEMENT ALLIANCE
The Firm is pleased to announce that partner Patrick B. Minter recently joined the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance, a nonpartisan group whose goal is to bring together thought leaders in both the insurance and litigation industries.
Membership in the CLM Alliance, which promotes high standards of litigation management through education and collaboration, is by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows. Mr. Minter is honored to be a member of this Alliance.

This past year has been an exciting year in terms of growth for the Firm.
