DAVE BLACKWELL AND PAT GALLIGAN JOIN THE FIRM AS PARTNERS
We are pleased to announce that David M. Blackwell and Patrick J. Galligan joined our Firm as partners. Dave and Pat will run the Firm’s professional liability defense group and bring extensive experience to the Firm in the areas of employment law, commercial litigation and construction litigation.
Dave is a 1994 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and is listed in the A.M. Best’s Directories of Insurance Professionals for 2015. Pat, also a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, graduated in 1996 and has been named to the list of 2015 New Jersey Super Lawyers.
Ronald Citrenbaum Joins the Firm
We are pleased to announce that effective June 24, 2015, Ronald Citrenbaum joined our Firm. His specialty is insurance defense litigation.
A 1996 cum laude graduate of the New England School of Law, Mr. Citrenbaum has extensive experience litigating liability matters and has participated in several cases resulting in published opinions. Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1996 and the New York State Bar in 1997, Mr. Citrenbaum is well-versed in all aspects of the litigation process and a welcome addition to our firm.

PATRICK B. MINTER AND LAURA ANN KELLY NAMED TO THE 2015 SUPER LAWYERS LIST
We are pleased to announce that two of our founding members, Patrick B. Minter and Laura Ann Kelly, have been named to the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2015. This is the fifth consecutive year in which Mr. Minter was named to this prestigious list and the first year for Ms. Kelly. The New Jersey Super Lawyers list is compiled by a unit of Thomson Reuters Corporation and is based on a multi-step selection process that includes the impartial evaluation of reviews of nominated attorneys from peers within their main practice areas. NJBIZ BEST 50 WOMEN IN BUSINESS CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY
NJBIZ announced this year it is marking the tenth anniversary of its Best 50 Women in Business award program, in which it recognizes the most successful businesswomen in New Jersey. Each year the program acknowledges the 50 leading New Jersey businesswomen for the influence they have shown within their individual companies and communities as well as over their respective industries and the general economic future of the State. This year, in addition to its annual list, NJBIZ recognizes all the women who have achieved this distinction over the past 10 years, including one of our founding members, Laura Ann Kelly, who received this honor in 2009. Our congratulations to all of the women recognized.
VOLUNTEERS TURN OUT TO LEND A HAND TO K9 SOLDIERS
It is encouraging to see how things are shaping up for one of our clients, JT Gabriel, and her nonprofit organization, K9 Soldiers. In February, over 50 volunteers turned out to help make improvements to the farmhouse she purchased as both a home and headquarters for her business — training service dogs to be paired off with wounded military veterans. We are happy to have had a hand in helping Ms. Gabriel purchase the property last year, offering our pro bono services to represent her at the closing of the purchase of the property which had been in bank foreclosure.
Ms. Gabriel has additional plans for the land, including erecting a new training facility where the paired dogs and veterans can meet and learn to work together. In the meantime, volunteers from the local Home Depot were taking care of the necessary repairs to the existing structure, located off Route 513 in Alexandria Township. Other local merchants assisting in this effort included Flemington Shop Rite, which donated food for the volunteers, Jeldwen Doors and Custom Products, and Behr Paints.
We join them in welcoming Ms. Gabriel and her K9 Soldiers to their new home and wish her continued success with her venture.
JANUARY 2015 COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS
The year got off to a highly rewarding start for our Firm as our caseload included three major Commercial Real Estate transactions. We were involved in the negotiation of a multi-million dollar, multi-loan credit facility in which we represented a New York City-based jewelry manufacturer.
Also in January, we represented a client in the sale of a Middlesex County, NJ manufacturing/warehouse facility to a church group, and we represented the purchaser of a warehouse facility in Hudson County in a transaction valued at $4 million.
We look forward to a continuation of this business trend in the remaining months of 2015.
