RON CITRENBAUM OBTAINS NO CAUSE VERDICT IN MONMOUTH COUNTY
On September 28, 2018, Ronald Citrenbaum, Esq. obtained a unanimous no cause verdict from a Monmouth County jury in favor of a condominium association represented by the Firm. At trial, the Plaintiff alleged that on August 21, 2013 he slipped on a wet, slippery substance on the linoleum floor outside the sauna located in the locker room. He claimed that he suffered a permanent, debilitating injury, including a ruptured hamstring. Mr Citrenbaum, on behalf of the Firm’s client, in turn, argued that Plaintiff had not identified the substance, how it got there, nor for how long it was there and thus could not establish notice. Mr. Citrenbaum further argued that Plaintiff’s own expert tested the slip resistance of the floor and found it to be acceptable. The eight-member jury deliberated for approximately 65 minutes and returned a defense verdict exonerating the Firm’s client. Congratulations to Ron on a job well done.
GARY FALKIN JOINS FIRM AS OF COUNSEL
We are very pleased to announce that Gary Falkin has joined our Firm as Of Counsel on September 1, 2018. Gary will concentrate his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, construction litigation, business law and legal malpractice.
Prior to joining Donnelly Minter & Kelly, LLC, Gary was in private practice where he represented clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, business asset and stock transactions, and construction litigation. Gary previously had an Of Counsel relationship with a New York law firm and had been associated with a number of New Jersey law firms in the capacity of both associate and partner.
