Hackett
Prior to joining Donnelly Minter & Kelly, Ms. Kaitlin Hackett served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Timothy W. Chell, P.J.Cv., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Gloucester/Cumberland/Salem County vicinage. During her clerkship with the Presiding Judge of the Civil Division, Ms. Hackett assisted in various aspects of civil practice, including preparing written dispositive motion findings, drafting written opinions, and researching legal issues. She also served as a certified New Jersey Judiciary Mediator for special civil matters and landlord tenant matters.
Ms. Hackett obtained her Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Political Science from Stockton University, magna cum laude. Ms. Hackett completed her Juris Doctorate studies at Rutgers Law School.
While attending Rutgers, Ms. Hackett served as Editor in Chief of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy and as a Teaching Assistant for Estate Planning classes. Ms. Hackett was a student leader of the following programs: PEP (Project for Estate Planning), which offered free estate document drafting to low-income individuals in need; Wills for Heroes, which prepared estate planning documents for first responders; and VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), which offered free tax preparation for low-income individuals.
