With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Donnelly represents clients in commercial leasing, real estate financing, and environmental law compliance and advises, negotiates and documents the purchase and sale of commercial real property including Section 1031 exchanges of real property.

He also advises closely-held businesses, including corporations, limited liability companies, professional practices, and other entities, and their owners on a variety of business issues, including structuring and negotiating business formations, acquisitions and sales.

Additionally, Mr. Donnelly handles Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) compliance. The CTA requires companies report information about their beneficial ownership to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. Enforcement of the CTA begins as early as January 2024.

Mr. Donnelly was selected to the list of NJ Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters in 2024. This is his sixth consecutive year of selection. The Super Lawyers list identifies attorneys who have been recognized by their peers for their professional accomplishments with no more than five percent of attorneys in the State named to this list each year. In January 2022, Mr. Donnelly was appointed President of the Board of Trustees of the Family Resource Network, a non-profit corporation dedicated to assisting individuals and their families as they cope with epilepsy, autism, and other disorders.

Mr. Donnelly and his wife Cheryl are Villanova University graduates, and the proud parents of two boys who have graduated from the University of Notre Dame.
