Ms. Leichter is an associate working in the trusts and estates group at the Firm.

Before joining Donnelly Minter & Kelly, Ms. Leichter served as intern to the Morris County Deputy Surrogate at the Morris County Surrogate Court.

While trust and estate work is Ms. Leichter’s primary area of focus, she is also proficient in advocacy for persons with special needs. During her time at Albany Law School, she participated in the school’s Clinic and Justice Center where she advocated for institutionalized adult autistic persons in various administrative forums. Ms. Leichter successfully worked to assist these clients in removing systematic barriers that interfered with their civil rights and independence.

Following her completion of law school, Ms. Leichter attended George Washington University Law School for her LL.M. In connection with receiving her LL.M., Ms. Leichter wrote her thesis, “A Bitter Pill to Swallow: The Negative Impact of Non-Compete Clauses in Physician Employment Contracts,” which emphasized how non-compete provisions in the field of medicine detrimentally interfere with the physician-patient relationship.
